We Had A Wonderful Experience On The Langtang Valley And Gosainkunda Lake Trek.

A friend recommended VHT to us and we're glad we took her advice. Our very experienced guide Ngima took good care of us, being inexperienced hikers, while trekking in Langtang Valley and Gosaikunda. The whole organization feels professional and personally involved. Thank you for our amazing experience!

One Of The Best In Nepal Lngtang Valley + Gosainkunda Lake

Visit Himalaya Treks is one of the best trekking companies in Nepal. My first trek with them was in 2019 (Manaslu circuit) and this time around we did the Langtang Gosainkunda Trek. Everything was planned to perfection. Himal provided great options to us as we shared our requirements. We had an absolutely incredible guide (Ngima Sherpa) who took care of us like family. We stayed in really good tea houses and Ngima made sure we got fresh fruits throughout the trek!

I would highly recommend them for any trek in Nepal. May-03-17-2022

Once In A Lifetime Trek Through Langtang Valley Trek

We had a great experience trekking for 12 days in the Langtang Valley. Our guide, Ngima Sherpa was an excellent guide, friend, and host. He went the extra mile to ensure that we had a wholesome trek. There were some hiccups that materialized due to the weather, logistics, and other factors, but having Ngima around ensured that we quickly were able to find an alternate route or solution to the problem.

The hospitality, knowledge, and excellence of this trekking company is unquestionable. I have spoken to a few other trekkers during my journey and have understood that we had an above-average experience. Also, Langtang Valley in itself was beautiful, untouched, and a grand spectacle of nature that one should witness in their lifetime.

Would highly recommend Visit Himalaya Treks for your next trek in Nepal.  May-03-17-2022.

On recommendation booked with visit Himalaya Treks.
The first contact was via the mail. What a service! Quick response and everything was arranged when I came to the agency. Together with guide Lok, we did the tamang heritage trail and Gosaikunda. This was totally super. Good combination between culture and nature. To bad that there are fewer tourists after the earthquake.

Because the villages are still beautiful (different but still details left) and the Tamang people are lovely. The days varied from 5 to 6 hours. This was perfect because we had time in the afternoon to visit things or just to rest. Thank you Lok and visit Himalaya Treks. I would definitely make another booking in the future. Marleen Timmers from Nederland 29th Nov, 2017 Really nice people en amazing trekking.

Langtang-Gosainkund-Helambu trek

From 2 to 15 November 2019, I completed the Langtang, Gosainkund, and Helambu trek, with Shambhu Tamang as my guide. As before, Himal Tamang of Visit Himalaya Treks provided excellent overall management and made all necessary permit and road travel arrangements. The trek itself was a wonderful experience, with Shambhu as an excellent companion, who made the trip special.

The trek up to Tsergo Ri, just short of 5000 meters elevation, was the highlight of the trek! We were lucky to have a perfectly clear morning during the walk up from Kyanjin Gomba to the top! The trek from Kyanjin to Gosainkund took several days of thoroughly enjoyable walking and very pleasant stays in various lodges along the way. Walking over the Laurabina pass, over 4600 meters elevation, into the Helambu areas was another highlight. I highly recommend visiting Himalaya Treks, and guiding Shambhu, if you also would like to experience this trek! November -2019.

FAQs

We always try to be flexible in designing the trip itinerary for our client’s needs. However, if you are not convinced with our suggested itinerary then of course you are always welcome to customize or change the trip itinerary.

A holiday should never be about making it to the final point quickly. Along your trek, we can add days at your request with additional costs to cover guides, porters, accommodation, and food.

An average physical fitness should be maintained before booking a trek. Any sort of illness or recent medical problems should be mentioned while booking a trip. Most of our itineraries are prepared to give you maximum time to acclimatize and pace-setting on the treks would be done according to your convenience. If you are taking regular medication then tell us before the trip starts which would be better for us to give you the physical feedback.

Our main concern is your safety. We never compromised on your safety during the Trekking and all our guides are properly trained and well equipped to take care of our client's safety in even the remote areas as well.

There would be always back support in case of an emergency like severe high-altitude sickness or accident (which is least expected), you will be sent to the nearest hospital if possible otherwise rescued by a helicopter and sent to the hospital as soon as possible. Since you are entirely liable for all the expenses incurred for the use of such emergency services, please make sure that your travel insurance covers both- medical and emergency evacuation costs.

It is not a problem at all because in a mountain most of the tea houses/lodges serve vegetarian food as well and our guide will take care of the time cooking and on a camping trek, our cook and staff will care all about the food section.

Most of the lodges in the mountains are the basic ones like a guest house or tea house style. In a few major towns or settlements, where are the possibilities we provide you with the best accommodation? Also, it depends upon the service packages.

Lately, most of the teahouses have electricity supply even with solar panels. So, charging your gadgets is not a problem at all. But charging your battery you should have to pay an additional fee (US$ 1 to 3 approx. per hour.), to get your gadgets to be charged.

Now a day’s most of the major village has a cell phone network connection. However, in a remote area where cell phones do not work, and even if there is no other communication access then we send satellite phones along with our guide so you can always be in touch with your family.

Yes, either you can store the same hotel as you stayed or we can store your goods with us safely in our office free of cost.

The luggage must not exceed up to 20 kilos. A trekking helper (porter) carries baggage of less than 15 kilos. This bag can be received at the end of each day’s trek and you should carry the rest of the weight as a day bag with all your money and valuables inside it.

This is a difficult thing to gauge. We have seen everything from USD 25 to USD 900 per person for guides and porters. Tipping is not required, but a small gesture of thanks to your guides and local porters. The Level of the tip should reflect the level of satisfaction from and personal involvement with your guide. However, we recommend you spend a minimum of 10% of your total trip cost for tipping the entire local staff.
