    A representative from Visit Himalaya Treks Pvt. Ltd. trekking with the company’s display board will greet you outside the arrival terminal and transfer you to your Hotel.

    A full day guided tour to several of historical and spiritual attractions enlisted under the World Heritage Sites. The trek leader will meet the group for a meeting and provide a detailed briefing on the trek. All the required information regarding the trek would be provided.

    After breakfast, a private vehicle (car/bus) will pick you at your hotel. We drive to Syabru Besi via Dhunche. After Dhunche, the drive continues on a secondary road. It takes around 8 hours to reach Syabru Besi.

    The trek starts with an ascent through a forests and passes through Bamboo and Rimche and closely follows Langtang River till Rimche. A brief climb leads to Lama Hotel ending the first day’s trek. (5 hours)

    A gradual climb continues throughout the day and passes through a couple of teahouses at Ghoda Tabela. Slowly but steadily the trek enters the valley and ends at Langtang Village. (5 hours)

    The trek continues to travel further in the valley with the valley getting narrower towards the end of the day. But a small and brief climb once again takes the trek into the more wider valley and Kyanjin Gompa is right at the start of this valley. The day is relatively short as the trek enters into higher elevations. Langtang Lirung (7227 meters) towers above the valley and provides a spectacular scenery. (4 hours)

    The day can be used to explore the area and for acclimatization. A morning climb of Tsergo Ri (5033 meters) provides stunning mountain panoramas that includes Shishapangma (8013 meters), Dorje Lhakpa (6966 meters), Langtang Lirung (7227 meters). Afternoon can be enjoyed by visiting old monastery of the village or the lakes nearby the village.

    From Kyanjin Gompa, the trek finally leaves the valley heads into the narrow valley leading to Ganja La. A steep climb for the most of the day leads to Naya Kanga Base Camp. After Kyanjin Gompa, there are no more lodges or village until the pass is crossed. (5-6 hours)

    The trek climbs further higher into the valley to the Naya Kanga peak High Camp. (4 hours) and set up high Camp.

    The push for the summit starts very early in the morning, mostly it starts before or around 3 a.m. in the morning. The climbing guide will fix all the safety lines wherever necessary and will be close taking care of you. A steep long ascent finally ends at the top and after a short stay at the top to enjoy the panorama of mountains that includes Langtang Lirung (7227 meters) and Yubra (6035 meters), we head back to Naya Kanga High Camp. (8-9 hours)

    This spare day can be used in case of bad weather on the day of the summit attempt. This day can also be used as an extra day for acclimatization.

    An early morning start is a must on days crossing a high pass. The day starts has a long steep ascent until top of the of the pass follows. The pass always has snow and ice at the top and extra attention (but no technical climbing) is required at these places. A brief stop at Ganja La to enjoy all the surrounding mountains of the valleys left behind is followed by a steep drop, which only ends at Keldang. (7-8 hours)

    The day once again introduces the trek back into green and lush valley and also includes small but stunning views of mountains of the Nepal Tibet border. (6 hours)

    A climb in the morning leads to viewpoint from where a brief section of Annapurna Range can be viewed. After the viewpoint, it is a steep descent through the forests of pine and rhododendrons to Tarkeghyang, one of the bigger settlements of the valley. (6 hours)

    A relatively easy terrain follows, passing along with some small rivers flowing through forests and ends at Shermathang. (6 hours)

    The trek continuously loses elevations and passes through terraced fields for most part of the day. After passing through several villages inhabited by diverse ethnic groups, the day and the trek ends at Melamchi Pul Bazaar about 3 hours and continue drive back to Kathmandu.
