    Begin your second day in Kathmandu and indulge in its rich cultural heritage. Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites, starting with Boudhanath Stupa. One of the largest Buddhist pagodas in the world. Moreover, admire the meditative atmosphere as monks ring the bells around the stupa. Visit Pashupatinath Temple It is a sacred place, especially for Hindus. It is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Explore the old buildings and observe the different scenes. Visit the beautiful Kathmandu Durbar Square, with its palaces, gardens, and three artistically outlined temples. In the afternoon you will return to your hotel and prepare for the next day's trekking. Discuss the exciting Kanchenjunga Lumba Sumba Pass trek with your guide.     Start your adventure with a great flight from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur. With mesmerizing aerial views of Nepal's lush landscape and the Himalayas beyond, this 45-minute flight will take you from the bustling city to the quiet plains of the Eastern Terai region. From Bhadrapur, take a scenic drive towards Taplejung. On the way, you will stop at the beautiful hill station of Ilam, which is also one of the famous locations in the Eastern Region of Nepal. Within about a 7-8 hours long drive from Bhadrapur airport, you will make up to Taplejung, the district headquarters of Taplejung, where we will stay overnight at the Hotel. Observe traditional farming methods and lifestyles as you trek across the beautiful farmlands of the eastern region. Arrive at Taplejung, the vibrant town surrounded by hills, and check into your accommodations. Rest well and prepare for the trekking experience ahead, as the second phase of your trek begins the next day.

    On day seven of the Kanchenjunga Lumba Sumba Pass Trek, you will continue from the nomadic community of Ghunsa to Kambachen, a highland settlement. This section is famous for its spectacular mountain views and scenic views. After leaving Ghunsa, the route climbs through yak meadows and scattered trees. Before revealing panoramic views over the approaching peaks, along the route, you'll pass Lungtung, a small resting spot that offers spectacular views over one of the region's most popular peaks Jannu Himal (also known as Kumbhakarna Peak). Admire the power of the Ghunsa River as it thunders beside you. Especially in this region Keep an eye out for animals such as the rare leopard and Himalayan blue deer. The breathtaking scenery of Ramtang and Jannu Himal await you when you reach Kambachen, 4,050 meters above sea level. This isolated village is a secluded resort surrounded by stunning nature.     Day eight of the Kanchenjunga Lumba Sumba Pass Trek is dedicated to acclimatization. This will ensure that your body gets used to the increasing altitude. Today is a great opportunity for a side trip to the wonderful Janu Himal View Point, a memorable highlight of the trek. Starting early in the morning You'll wind your way through moraines, alpine meadows, and stone trials and continue your trek to the base camp. Along the way, you'll be treated to amazing panoramic views of the glacier formations, and Janu Himal (7710 m). The perfect place to view the majestic Janu Himalaya, sometimes called "Mystery Peak" or "Terror Mountain" for its intimidating beauty. Look for highland animals adapted to this pristine environment, such as Himalayan blue sheep and beautiful pheasants. Return to Kambachen to admire the magnificent views and tranquil atmosphere from the Janu viewpoint. Enjoy a relaxing evening while preparing for your next adventure.     A satisfying breakfast in the shade of Kambachen Valley starts the day. From Kambachen, the trail climbs up to the isolated highland valley of Lonak. It is a truly natural and beautiful trekking trail. The day makes you encounter full of peaceful landscapes, the formation of glaciers, and the beautiful Himalayan mountain scenery. When leaving Kambachen, the trail winds through rocky alpine meadows, with the towering Mera Peak 6364 meters, Mojka Peak 6024 meters, Gimmigela 6415 meters and Wedge Peak 6802 meters cliffs dominating the landscape as you progress, which offers panoramic views of the moraine landscape and glacier formations. The trekking trail continues along the Ghunsa River, with snow-capped peaks reflected all around.

    Frozen waters along the way, you'll pass famous attractions such as the Kanchenjunga Glacier and the mysterious remains of former yak pastures.     Today's route cuts through forests and rocky terrain, leaving all Himalayan behind. The route comes alive in spring giving the best representation of Kanchenjunga Lumba Sumba Pass Trek.     After breakfast, we will start our journey to Olangchungola. The trail descends into a Greenery area. And while you're trekking, you will pass dense rhododendrons and pine forests. You will also witness the lush bamboo forests at lower altitudes. The vibrant flora reflects the region's incredible biodiversity. Waterfalls and clear mountain streams along the way allow you to stop and soak up the serenity of the Kanchenjunga Region. As you descend further down you will find a small yak pasture and the simple shepherd's hut. The shepherds will have a philosophy of living together through Olangchungola. Olangchungola is one of the prominent traditional villages on the Kanchenjunga Lumba Sumba Pass Trek route.

    The ancient charm of stone-built and wooden houses and centuries-old Buddhist temples is evident as it is home to Sherpa and Bhutia communities. This village is rich in Culture and traditions. Olangchungola Surrounded by the majestic peaks of Lumba and Sumba, is known for its unique wildlife such as red pandas and snow leopards. It is possible to witness such unique wildlife in the nearby forest from time to time. Evenings offer the opportunity to explore the village. Interact with warm locals and marvel at the ancient monastery. The flickering prayer flags on the starry night of the Himalayas add to the beauty of an overnight stay at Olangchungola at Camp.

    After several days of trekking, this day will be a rest day at the picturesque village of Olangchungola. One of the cultural highlights of the route is the Kanchenjunga Lumba Sumba Pass Trek. Olangchungola represents the perfect blend of Himalayan traditions and lifestyle. Start your day with a walk along the narrow cobblestone streets.

    It is lined with traditional Tibetan-style houses. Take a look at the Buddhist monastery, which is more than 500 years old. It is decorated with colorful prayer flags and beautiful carvings.     The trek from Thudam to Yak Kharka begins with a gentle descent through dense pine forests. The trail curves along the Chujung Khola where you will be greeted by the soothing sound of flowing water.     The route from Linggam to Hatiya is a lovely adventure through lush forests, waterfalls, and charming villages. After leaving Lingam, the trail follows the scenic Arun Nadi, with views of terraced rice fields. Along the way, you'll pass small settlements such as Chepuwa, Gimbar, and Hong Hong which are home to communities Bhutia. These communities are known for their warm hospitality and following traditional ways of life every day overnight stay will be at Hatiya at Camp.

    After breakfast, you will descend into lush forests along the Arun Nadi. The trail is lined with Cardimum fields and vibrant greenery. It makes the journey to Barun Dovan where our journey Switching from walking to driving in Barun Dovan is a new phase of the Kanchenjunga Lumba Sumba Pass Trek. The road to the bustling hill town of Khandbari is about a 7 - 8 hours drive, When in Khandbari, you will have a comfortable stay overnight at a Hotel, celebrating the last day of the trek with the whole team.

Arriving at the Kathmandu domestic terminal, receive at the airport and transfer to Hotel, free afternoon, evening traditional cultural dinner stay overnight at Kathmandu.

While the trek is through a relatively hard route, it can be considered a demanding grade Trek, suitable for experienced trekkers or people with good physical fitness with previous high-altitude trekking experience. If you are well prepared and in good shape you can enjoy it too.
